My main take a way was "make your messaging clear". If you poll 5 people after your speech and they give the same words verbatim , then you have shared your message.
So we are championed to ask "what is my message?" What do I want the audience to do, think or feel."
As a performer and songwriter you want to only give a message but you want to make it clear. I think sometimes it is open to interpretation
When it comes to speeches you do want clear messaging . As a marketeer you do need consistent messaging.
Seeing someone who is at the top of his game, he learned how to share ideas, speak succinctly, use pauses effectively. I can see he embodies the culmination of his Toastmasters training. I have been inspired and glad I bought a ticket to see him. I have something to aspire to.
