I've missed almost a week of blog posts ; busy with getting over a cold, lots of projects and problems to fix at work, with trainings, toastmasters speeches, lessons and performances.
I did happen to hear a great story about a jazz musician that was trying to get into conservatory. He had a tried out and they passed on him. Rather than get discouraged he decided to practice 10 hours a day , everyday for 30 days and then go back and audition again. When he went back after a month he was accepted into the program.
From this story I learned the power of persistence. He persisted with trying again. He persisted in practicing. And it pays off.
Currently I was not persistent in my nutrition but I was persistent in my exercise. Now that I'm focusing on better workouts and nutrition , 30 days from now I expect better results. Don't give up, dig in and keep working at it and until your no becomes a yes and you get results you desire!
