A picture is worth a 1000 words:
It all started when my grandma asked me to send her stuff so she could brag to her friends at Bingo. At 89 Bingo bragging rights are a huge deal for her. She dragged a boom box over there once to play them my CD.
She had kept everything I have ever written, stuff I have long forgotten about and she also has the only scrap book my mom ever made of pics of me.
In the digital age I decided making an online collage book to share and print would be the most economical way to share photos since it's easy, quick, there are tons of coupons for them and they can be saved for others to share or order at anytime.
I have a lot of pictures from the last couple of years since I have re-kickstarted my music career in 2010. Most of the momentum started in 2012, so that is where the collage starts.
It was so much fun to go back through old flyers, promo pics, show pics and other moments in my career. I feel proud of my accomplishments but above all I feel honored to thank my family for their love and support. Being a musician is very difficult but even more so without someone in your corner. So now the book is online for people to review and to print.
My mom is getting the first copy mailed to her now and I should get the next copies out soon when I confirm snail mail addresses.
If you have never done this type of photo book I recommend it. The one I did is a mini book but you have endless possibilities on what you can create. I'm sure anything you make your loved ones will love! :)
