I know for me the holiday seasons means lot of get togethers, which means food, food and more food, followed by booze , booze and more booze, which means I am worried that I might negate some of the fitness progress I have made. I have lost 35 lbs this year, and still would like to lose another 15 by Feb. I know Dec and the 33 days of Cliffmas is going to prove difficult. I have thus resigned my self to three things that I think will help.
1st- Keep up with the workouts. I still work out 6 days a week and walk whenever I can to try and get some exercise in during the day.
2nd- Keep up with the accountability group. My online group is so supportive (shout out to my coach Jason for making it in Body Beast infomercial). I can keep up with these guys through all my difficulties and struggles and I know they will keep me from falling too far off the wagon.
3rd- Keep logging and monitoring food intake. This has been the most challenging this week, but I am still sticking to only liquor, wine and trying to make sure i portion control when I can. I don't go for seconds. That is better than I was in times past. People are still noticing how well I am doing but people who have seen me yo yo back and forth warn me of old habits. Like Tony Horton teaches I am going to continue to do my best and forget the rest. I can always go harder when I'm not on vacation and not at social events. and whatever back tracking I do I can hop back on the wagon quick and take of the pounds. It's a journey, we need grace sometimes when we fall. Just don't let your dreams die.
Feb will be a year of the p90 series. I am happy I have started this journey and makde great friends along the way that continually inspire me. I look better, I feel better and will continue to improve.
