Sick and tired:
I've been fighting a sore throat the past couple of days but I haven't let that stop me from: writing and recording a new demo; shooting a promo video with Noble Creatures, going to see a Pancho Sanchez show and taking a day trip to Solvang for wine tasting!
I also taught lessons this weekend as well. There were moments when I wanted to just lie in bed all day, but then illness would have won. The one thing I did not do was exercise the last three days. I felt it would be better to have three rest days and hit it stronger this week.
This week I am rebooting my exercise regime. I have ordered a Nutribullet, which is set to arrive Wednesday. I plan to get fresh fruits and veggies and master how to make great juice blends, smoothies, frozen desserts and homemade soups! It is my plan to really infuse my diet with a lot of great blends of fresh produce to have most of my nutrients come from non-processed foods. I think this will have a profound effect on my mental alertness and waistline. I still have many miles to go on P90x2 and my weightloss plan to lose 9ish more lbs this year, and this will help.
This journey is about endurance and perseverance. I am going to be motivated by a great Jim Rohn tribute broadcast this week; I've got lots of great music; Toastmasters events; and other things to keep me occupied as I continue moving up the ladder.
This week starts with a bang with writing this blog post the night before. I have noticed in a rush to muli-task and post , some posts have not been edited properly. I apologize. I must put more excellence into all of my work so that I can eventually do what I love; all day, everyday.
